Shell Oil Report!!! Life is precious!!! Please cherish it...

A Email from my Father-In-Law... I find it very important... So I decided to post it here... Must read...

Please send this in formation to ALL your family & friends, especially those who have kids in the car with them while pumping gas. If this were to happen, they may not be able to get the children out in time.

MUST READ, EVEN IF YOU DON'T OWN A CAR.
Shell Oil Comments - A MUST READ! Safety Alert! Here's some reasons why we don't allow cell phones in operating areas, propylene oxide handling and storage area, propane, gas and diesel refueling areas.

The Shell Oil Company recently issued a warning after three incidents in which mobile phones (cell phones) ignited fumes during fueling operations

In the first case, the phone was placed on the car's trunk lid during fueling; it rang and the ensuing fire destroyed the car and the gasoline pump.

In the second, an individual suffered severe burns to their face when fumes ignited as they answered a call while refueling their car!

And in the third, an individual suffered burns to the thigh and groin as fumes ignited when the phone, which was in their pocket, rang while they were fueling their car. You should know that:

Mobile Phones can ignite fuel or fumes Mobile phones that light up when switched on or when they ring release enough energy to provide a spark for ignition Mobile phones should not be used in filling stations, or when fueling lawn mowers, boat, etc. Mobile phones should not be used, or should be turned off, around other materials that generate flammable or explosive fumes or dust, (I.e., solvents, chemicals, gases, grain dust, etc...)

TO sum it up, here are the Four Rules for Safe Refueling:
1) Turn off engine
2) Don't smoke
3) Don't use your cell phone - leave it inside the vehicle or turn it off
4) Don't re-enter your vehicle during fueling.

Bob Renkes of Petroleum Equipment Institute is working on a campaign to try and make people aware of fires as a result of 'static electricity' at gas pumps. His company has researched 150 cases of these fires. His results were very surprising:
1) Out of 150 cases, almost all of them were women.
2) Almost all cases involved the person getting back in their vehicle while the nozzle was still pumping gas. When finished, they went back to pull the nozzle out and the fire started, as a result of static.
3) Most had on rubber-soled shoes.
4) Most men never get back in their vehicle until completely finished. This is why they are seldom involved in these types of fires.
5) Don't ever use cell phones when pumping gas
6) It is the vapors that come out of the gas that cause the fire, when connected with static charges.
7) There were 29 fires where the vehicle was re-entered and the nozzle was touched during refueling from a variety of makes and models. Some resulted in extensive damage to the vehicle, to the station, and to the customer.
8) Seventeen fires occurred before, during or immediately after the gas cap was removed and before fueling began.

Mr. Renkes stresses to NEVER get back into your vehicle while filling it with gas. If you absolutely HAVE to get in your vehicle while the gas is pumping, make sure you get out, close the door TOUCHING THE METAL, before you ever pull the nozzle out. This way the static from your body will be discharged before you ever remove the nozzle.

As I mentioned earlier, The Petroleum Equipment Institute, along with several other companies now, are really trying to make the public aware of this danger. I ask you to please send this in formation to ALL your family and friends, especially those who have kids in the car with them while pumping gas. If this were to happen to them, they may not be able to get the children out in time. Thanks for passing this along.

Life Explained...by an MBA Graduate

Interesting email I've recieved from my brother-in-law... Very meaningful... Teaches me to be contented with our life...

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican fishing village.

A tourist complimented the local fishermen on the quality of their fish and asked how long it took him to catch them. "Not very long." they answered in unison. "Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"

The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families. "But what do you do with the rest of your time?" "We sleep late, fish a little, play with our children, and take siestas with our wives. In the evenings, we go into the village to see our friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs. We have a full life."

The tourist interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat." "And after that?" "With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City , Los Angeles , or even New York City ! From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."

"How long would that take?" "Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years." replied the tourist. "And after that?"

"Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting, " answered the tourist, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make millions!"

"Millions? Really? And after that?" asked the fishermen. "After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends."

“That’s what we are doing now” Replied the fishermen

And the moral of this story is: ........ Know where you're going in life.... you may already be there!!

2nd Entry - All About Love...

Love is about a type of very special and strong feeling from your heart that can't be explained from words... It can filled your heart with happiness & sweetness but can also hurt your heart like rubbing with salt on an open wound...

Last nite, my mum called me up and say that my dad misses cs alot, can they come over and fetch him back to spend a nite, then they will fetch him back this morning?! I was quite happy indeed... As I know, my parents both enjoy cs companion alot... Haha... No 2nd thought, I agreed... Hehe...

It has been a long time since we both can spend a nite together, just the 2 of us... I actually spend almost 15mins looking at him sleeping by my side, I felt so warm, love & contented, as though we're in our own world and I'm the happiest woman in the world... At that moment I realise that Love is bout knowing that every nite: there's someone lying by your side, giving you a goodnight kiss on your lips, hugging you to sleep, snoring throughout the nite beside your ears, snatching blankets with you, etc...

In a family or relationship, there bound to be quarrels & arguements, is how you handle that situation and forget bout the whole matter after sometime... We had our equal amount of quarrels for the past 8 years, but I'm glad that everytime, we manage to forget the start a fresh the next day... If not, I wouldn't have the chance to experience the kind of sweetness last nite... Its all bout GIVE & TAKE... Ofcos, its always easy to say than done... But I can proudly says that I've never fail to GIVE throughout all these years of relationship... Haha...

Okay... That's all my feelings for today... Gotto start work now, got tonnes of things to do... Haha... Wish Everyone To Have A Great Day Ahead!!!
